From our location in Byron Center, we provide genuine sprinkler services and parts through both our retail store and our on-site installation, maintenance, and repair visits. If a long-lasting sprinkler system is what you need, Flier’s is your premier choice.
The Flier’s process for installation of sprinkler systems is completely customizable. You can decide whether you want us to design and install it for you or help you install it yourself. If you prefer we do the installation, we’ll give you a free on-site estimate based on your requirements. If you’d rather do as much as possible on your own, we’ll work with you to determine what you need and prepare the materials for you. Once we’ve completed your sprinkler system activation, we’ll teach you how to properly use and maintain it.
One of our popular services is fall winterization, which protects your sprinkler system against damage from freezes and extreme cold during the winter months.
Your sprinkling system will be easy to start up in the spring if you call Flier’s to shut it down properly in the fall before the first hard freeze.
Flier’s Toro certified technicians will close the main water valve, turn off the controller, drain the back flow prevention valve, and open the manual drain valves out in the lawn (if applicable), or blow the system out using the proper air pressure and size compressor.

When you call Flier’s for spring start-up service, our technicians will:
- Close all manual drain valves in the lawn (if applicable)
- Open the system main water valve
- Manually activate each zone
- Check each station on the controller for proper operation
- Check the system for proper operating pressure
- Check rotation and adjustment of sprinkler heads
- Program the controller for automatic watering
- Clean the rain sensor and inline filters
